Project Camp Three Rapids
The main characteristics of the facility are :
- The powerhouse, intake (110 m) and tailrace canal (75 m) are located on the left bank of the river.
- The overflow weir is 120 m in length, and is comprised of two 45-m long rubber dams. The concrete base of the weir varies from 1 to 2 m in height, and is topped with a 2.0-m diameter rubber dam.
- An approximately 9.3 km long head pond that covers an additional surface area of 64.5 ha. Normal operating level is 229.60 m.
- The powerhouse is equipped with two S-Shape turbines, each with a capacity of 2.75 MW.
