CLARINGTON 3 BESS PROJECT

The public meetings scheduled for the Clarington Battery Energy Storage System Projects 1 and 3 on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 12 pm and 5 pm have been postponed and are now cancelled. 

Clarington – Ontario — Hydromega regrets to inform the community that the anticipated public meeting concerning the proposed Battery Energy Storage System project in Clarington has been postponed. Our team has undertaken a careful re-evaluation of various aspects of the project, including its scope, location, and timing. 

This decision is driven by our commitment to ensure that our project seamlessly aligns with the needs and objectives of the local community. We understand the importance of community engagement in shaping initiatives of this nature and are dedicated to providing residents with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the discussion. 

The temporary pause in our project timeline will enable us to gather additional insights and perspectives, fostering a more comprehensive understanding of the community’s expectations. This, in turn, will enhance the project’s overall success and positive impact on the Clarington community.
