Cochrane power corporation

In March 2018, Hydroméga Service inc. (HSI) concluded the acquisition of Cochrane Power Corporation (CPC), a 42 MW cogeneration facility located in Cochrane, Ontario. The facility has been idle since 2015 when its power purchase agreement expired. Its very good condition will however allow a quick restart when the market conditions improve. The onsite natural gas station also offers opportunities for Distributed Gas Solutions Canada (DGSC) which, with its liquified (LNG) and compressed (CNG) natural gas solutions, will be able to supply northern Ontario customers such as mines, remote communities and transportation.
